INTO THE BREACH My older brother lives in Los Angelos, so my focus on the recent fires has not actually been on the devastation, real or potential, of the historic buildings in the region ….. However, the threat to the LA architecture is not without merit for consideration. https://www.archpaper.com/2025/01/buildings-threatened-southern-california-fires/ https://eamesfoundation.org/house/eames-house/ https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/chapel-of-the-chimes |

A LITTLE BLINK BLINK One of the few things i miss from having grown up in the suburbs outside Pittsburgh, and one of the VERY FEW things i like about winter, are the holiday lights. Fortunately one of my neighbors always provides a holiday display for my evening walks. |
